What is Global Warming?

Oceans is on Tour!

The Save My Oceans Tour is visiting multiple college campuses with a series of music, film and art installations that celebrate our collective passion for the oceans and provide tools and information for what you can do to protect them.

In each city, the Save My Oceans tour features a concert on campus. Save My Oceans is working together with student organizations on each campus to align an exciting musical act to this worthy cause.

Save My Oceans is also bringing "Planet Illogica AIR (Artist-in-Residence), Julie B" and the “Infiltrate” art installation to each city. The purpose of the installation is to engage students on some of the many dangers facing our world’s oceans. Working alongside student sustainability groups, we are educating students on the issue and offering solutions on how we can minimize our negative impact.
For a more in-depth look at the art activation, check out, "http://www.planetillogica.com/oceanstour"

In addition, Participant Media and Disneynature will hold a free advanced screening of the movie Oceans. Admission will require that students take the Save My Oceans pledge to reduce plastic consumption.

I choose to use reusable bottles and bags instead of plastic ones
Americans use 2.5 million plastic bottles every hour, and 500 million plastic bags annually. I pledge to reduce these numbers and choose reusable bottles and bags instead of plastic ones.

Sea creatures "Infiltrate" each college campus:

Up to 8 different sea creatures made out of recycled plastic bottles will be creatively spread on each of our 10 campus stops. Each creature will be 2 to 6 feet tall and replicated in large quantities. Opaque during the day, then transparent at night with illuminated plastic bottles hidden inside each creature’s belly, the "Infiltrate" concept aims to stir emotions, which provoke thought and dialog.
